How to reach
To reach Lungchu, you have to reserve a private car from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) or Siliguri. The distance from NJP to Lungchu is about 120 km. Nearest railway station from the Lungchu is New Mal Junction which is distance of 76 km. It is advisable to come in a large car, because the road is quite steep and dangerous for small cars.

Accommodation and costs
The rooms at Skyline Retreat Lungchu are extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The walls of each room are wooden finish, which keeps the room warm on winter nights. The rooms have large glass windows, through which you can enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains and Kanchenjunga while lying down. Apart from the furniture, the house has everything you need. The upper rooms are designed like duplexes, where there are separate beds below and above. Up to four people can stay in each room, and plants and decorative items decorated with natural materials will be seen in every corner of the room. And for hot water there is the convenience of electric kettle, which is very necessary in this cold environment.
It is very cozy to stay in this homestay. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Accommodation and meals are charged at Rs 1400 per person per day, which includes lunch, dinner, breakfast and evening snacks.
